Right now, Maus Vesterbaan is raising funds to purchase an important resuscitation device: the LUCAS 2 Chest Compression System. War wounds often lead to cardiac arrest. This system provides uninterrupted and consistent compressions to such patients (100 compressions per minute at a depth of 1.5 to 2 inches). It can be powered by battery or use a wall or car electrical outlet.
A refurbished one with new battery costs €6.000. For now, €1.000 is raised.
